MENTAL HEALTH REHAB SPECIALIST I 

for Wellness Center

Salary: $17.30 - $22.00

 

Assess participants and family members to determine their needs and problems to link them to suitable support groups and resources (link them to outside agencies, organizations or departments as appropriate.) Carry out socializing/rehabilitation activities; as assigned, be responsible to develop/implement a specific rehabilitation activity; function as a team member of the Day Treatment millieu participating in all aspects of the center's programming (ie, recreation, social/daily living skills, education and training activities, clean up.)  May function as interim group leader, or facilitator and transport participants as necessary or assigined.  Perform crisis intervention counseling at a level not requiring licensure as a mental health professional.  Ensure records are in compliance with federal, state, local and agency regulations for records including Health Insurance  Portabilitily and Accountability Act (HIPPA).

BA Required in Psychology, sociology or related field. Four years experieince required in Community social service agency working with TAY.  Bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese preferred.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST I

Salary:

$51,623 - $82,597

for Best Practices Department

Support Quality Assurance Team with reviewing charts; documentation training and  Welligent EHR training. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and Tri-City protocols.  Assist in determining type and frequency of training needs. Assist in data outcome measures.

Masters required in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or Psychology(copy of degree required at interview);  MFT;MSW required; 3-5 years experience  as a Clinician required; computer skills preferred in Excel, Word,  Survey Monkey; 3 year's experience with DMH paperwork and documentation; knowledge of  Medi-Cal  Short Doyle requirements and Procedure Codes; Clinical Loop understanding; Bilingual preferred in Spanish; Teleform, SPSS and Access Experience preferred; Welligent Electronic Health Record preferred; Experience with a clinical audit a plus.Flexible; multi-task oriented; attention to detail;work well under pressure. Intern hours must be completed; must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Clinical Social Worker I

(2 positions)

Salary:$47,723 - $71,584

For Adult Dept

Community Mental Health  therapist responsibilities; conducting critical assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, Clinical case management, crisis interventions.

MSW required; LCSW preferred. 2 years experience required in LAC DMH adult system of care; basic typing; Bilingual preferred in either Spanish or Asian dialects. Familiarity with EHR a plus.

IT SPECIALIST 

for Wellness Center

SALARY: $21.15 - $27.49

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with software, desktop computers, printers, peripherals, desk phones, and cell phones. Track service calls and report on a weekly basis the status of service calls.  Install computer hardware and set up phones. Fundamental network and server knowledge.  Assist staff members with any computer/network/phone issues.  Fundamental knowledge of digital photography.  Set up audio visual equipment as needed.  Maintain HIPPA compliance and protect patient health information.

Degree preferred in Computer Information Services. One year experience preferred in Computer/Network support. Computer skills required in Computer/Network support. Customer service, basic digital photography, cell phones, portable digital equipment knowledge preferred.

 CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST

 (Part time)

Salary: $135/hour

Provide psychiatric medication services to children, teens and young adults up to 25 in a public, community mental health clinic setting. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with therapists, case managers, supervisors and licensed psychiatric technicians.  Responsible to evaluate, diagnose, prescribe and document in electronic health record. Collaboration with treatment team and other agencies required.

   

MD Required  in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry specialization. Two years minimum experience in Community Mental Health setting/treatment population. Basic computer skills required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience with electronic health record and public mental health system preferred.

PSYCHIATRIST

For Adult Services

Salary:$205,687-$253,147

Provide medication services to adults, ages 18+, who have severe and persistent mental illness. Responsible to work with multi-disciplinary team to provide effective and high quality behavioral healthcare  to residents of Pomona, Claremont and La Verne.

MD required. Psychiatrist and DEA licenses in CA required; two  years’ experience required in community mental health setting. Bilingual preferred in Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Korean or Khmer. DMH paperwork experience and Electronic Health Record/Welligent, a plus.

All Tri-City Mental Health Center regular, full-time employment positions are subject to a 12-month probationary period.  Prior to appointment, candidates must satisfactorily complete pre-employment requirements, which may include any combination of the following:

  • Complete medical physical
  • Drug screening test
  • TB Test
  • Official driving record inquiry/ Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Education verification
  • Reference Verification
