Salary: $32,036.02-$50,393.20 Annually
Under supervision, the Mental Health Worker will assists professional staff members engaged in planning, developing, evaluation and providing mental health support services to individuals and groups. They will provide services in the development and implementation of rehabilitation and vocational programs. The Mental Health Worker will ensure participants and family members have all the information needed to make well-informed health care decisions. They will provide linkage to other resources and services, as well as coordinate a continuum of care for groups of participants. The Mental Health Worker will maintain records of all activities relating to clients’ care and must adhere to 70% billing compliancy. In addition, they will perform other duties as assigned.

Mental Health Worker I: Training and experience equivalent to two years of work which would provide insight into individual or group problems such as psychiatric illness, delinquency, alcoholism, drug abuse, old age, or domestic relations and their effect on mental health.
Mental Health Worker II: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field such as psychology, counseling, or social work, and two years of paid full-time experience working with mental health participants.
PREFERRED:Having 1-3 years’ experience in the Mental Health Environment is a plus. Having experience with Adult population and being able to work in a fast-paced environment is desired. Being Bilingual in Spanish is required.
