Salary: $90,140.00-$144,225.00 Annually
Under administrative direction, oversees and performs highly responsible, complex, and confidential Human Resources functions and coordinates related programs and services; manages Human Resources Department Staff; administers agency’s HR activities including risk management, employee benefit programs, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee relations, training and development, and the formulation of personnel rules and policies; and assist in overseeing the privacy needs of Tri-City Mental Health Services for compliance with federal and State regulations including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) are maintained. Assist the Chief Operations Officer with the coordination, assignment and renewal processes for securing and maintaining agency insurance coverage such as Auto, Workers Compensation, Directors & Officers, Professional and General Liability, Crime and Commercial Property. Directs loss prevention and safety program; select brokers and carriers. Participate in MHSA Results Based Accountability (RBA) implementation process with the Chief Operations Officer and Quality Assurance Department to create on-going data collection and performance measures to improve services and communications with staff relating to HR and Risk Management. Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human resources, business administration or a related field, with emphasis in personnel administration or organizational behavior, and five years of increasingly responsible experience in public sector human resources or personnel administration.
One or more of the following types of certifications is highly desirable: PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), IMPA-HR (International Public Management Association Human Resources Professional) SHRM CP (Certified Professional) or SHRM SCP (Senior Certified Professional).
