30-Day Posting for Review
Mental Health Services Act Program Overview
Passed by California voters in November 2004, Proposition 63 (known now as the Mental Health Services Act or MHSA), created a 1% increase in income taxes on personal income over 1 million dollars. These new tax revenues created the first expansion of funding for mental health services in many years. To access these funds, local mental health systems like Tri-City engaged a broad range of stakeholders and prepared the following CFTN Project Proposal.
