Tri-City Mental Health, through grant funding from the Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) project, is hosting a monthly student wellness series for parents, caregivers, supportive adults, teachers and youth. Join us on the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm for valuable tips and resources on how adults can better support youth mental health. This series is offered virtually and is open to educators, service providers, parents, caregivers and the general public.
This month's topic is These Anxious Feelings. Learn about the physical and emotional symptoms of anxiety. Attendees will identify potential anxiety triggers and be equipped with coping skills youth can practice to manage and reduce anxiety. Attendees will also learn how to make stress balls with household items.

About the Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA)
Tri-City Mental Health, through the statewide Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) grant, is working to expand behavioral and mental health services for youth, young adults and their families in Claremont, Pomona, and La Verne. This funding is used to foster school-community partnerships, and provide psychoeducation for parents, supportive adults, teachers and youth.
