Under the theme “Discovering a Powerful Community,” participants will survey the past and present as well as map the future of mental health in the three-city region.

Set against the backdrop of a tumultuous 2020, Tri-City Mental Health (TCMH) will host a three-day virtual conference on February 2 through February 4, 2021 with the theme “Discovering a Powerful Community.” TCMH has invited leaders from law enforcement, education, healthcare as well as community organizations to the event that will focus on the past, present and future of the community’s mental health needs and goals.

Established in 1960 as the exclusive public outpatient mental health agency for the cities of Claremont, La Verne and Pomona, TCMH serves thousands of residents annually. Its expansive range of services to individuals, families, neighborhoods and organizations includes: psychotherapy, crisis support, clinical case management, medication support, peer support, linkage and referral, vocational training and support, socialization activities, and community outreach and training.

“As we crossed the threshold of our 60th year, we thought gathering the community to help us define its mental health needs and goals was essential to ensuring we are there to support them,” said Toni Navarro, LMFT, TCMH’s Executive Director. “But more than identifying today’s needs, the conference will focus on the future and actions we can take together to make the future of a powerful and resilient community a reality.”
