Mental health looks different for everyone. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach — what matters is showing up for yourself and others, one step at a time. Just like we care for our physical health, we can take action to support our mental well-being every day. Mental Health Awareness Month, observed each May, brings individuals, families, and communities together to raise awareness of the important role mental health plays in our lives — and to explore the many ways we can support one another through life’s ups and downs.
Join Tri-City Mental Health in celebrating California's statewide movement, Take Action for Mental Health, and celebrating the power of community in Pomona, Claremont and La Verne. This year’s theme, Mental Health as a Continuum, encourages us to embrace the full spectrum of our well-being. Whether you’re simply getting through the day or taking a step toward self-care, each moment is valid and is part of a continuum. Mental health doesn’t have a set destination — it’s okay to be exactly where you are right now. Progress, no matter the size, is meaningful, and it’s okay to go at your own pace.

Throughout the month, Tri-City is hosting free in-person and virtual webinars and events to promote mental health awareness and community connection. Discover different ways you can participate this month and resources to support your mental health journey.
