Green Ribbon Week (March 16-20, 2026) is Tri‑City Mental Health’s annual stigma‑reduction campaign, part of our ongoing commitment to supporting mental wellness in Pomona, Claremont, and La Verne. Since its launch in 2015, Green Ribbon Week (GRW) has encouraged our community to learn about mental health, challenge stigma, and uplift one another through connection, compassion, and awareness.
This year’s theme, Unplug and Connect, invites us to pause the constant buzz of digital life and make space for what truly supports our well‑being. Whether it’s connecting with nature, spending uninterrupted time with loved ones, engaging in creativity, or simply checking in with yourself, unplugging helps us slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most.
Throughout the week, we encourage you to take small, meaningful steps to reduce screen fatigue, nurture real‑world relationships, and build environments where mental wellness is supported and valued. By talking openly, listening with empathy, and showing up for one another, we can reduce the silence and shame that often surround mental health challenges.
Make a Digital Pledge
Sign to take a pledge and commit to reducing mental health stigma while also prioritizing intentional connection. Share your pledge using #UnplugAndConnect to inspire others and help spread awareness. When we unplug together, we create more room for meaningful conversations and genuine connection.
Your pledge might include:
- Taking a daily break from social media
- Spending time outdoors without devices
- Reconnecting with a friend or family member
- Practicing mindfulness or journaling
- Setting boundaries around screen time

Green Ribbon Week Events 2026
Each event this year is designed to help you step away from digital distractions and reconnect: with yourself, with others, and with your community. As you explore the week’s activities, we encourage you to think about the small intentional steps you can take toward better mental wellness. Sometimes it starts with something as simple as showing up, taking a breath, or having a real conversation without the pull of a screen. Participating in Green Ribbon Week is just one meaningful way to begin building healthier, more connected habits.
