Tri-City’s Crisis Care Mobile Units Action Plan to address the need for a mobile crisis program is now available for public viewing.

This Action Plan is the result of a months-long process made possible through a Crisis Care Mobile Units (CCMU) Planning Grant award from the California Department of Health Care Services. From March 2022 to February 2023, Action Plan development involved ongoing and cross-sector collaboration with local and regional organizations (e.g., school districts, law enforcement, social service agencies, etc.), community needs assessments, and the use of consultant services for stakeholder engagement. This Action Plan is informing Tri-City’s design and implementation of an expanded mobile behavioral and mental health crisis response program (including linkages to necessary care and support) for residents of Pomona, Claremont, and La Verne.
