Rising Together
ACEs Aware Supplemental Community Training

Wednesday, January 12, 2022 | 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

While research shows that toxic stress and trauma in childhood can increase risk for some of the most common and serious health conditions facing our society today, they are only predictors, not destiny. By understanding the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), families, educators and providers can heal the negative impacts of ACEs and toxic stress.

This free training, provided through the statewide ACEs Aware supplemental training grant, will delve into how we each play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of children, adults, families and communities. We will share self-care information, strategies and resources to prevent and adress the impact of ACEs and toxic stress and unlock the potential of the next generation.

Who should attend: This training is open to service providers, educators, parents, caregivers and community members.
