Listening Circle: Let's Talk About Stigma (Green Ribbon Week)
Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 03:30pm - 05:00pm

Let's Talk About Stigma

Stigma is toxic to a person's mental health because it creates an environment of shame, fear and silence which can prevent many people from seeking help and treatment. The perception of mental health won't change unless we act to change it. Mental health is an essential part of the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities alike.

Have you ever found it difficult to talk openly about mental health? Join us in collaboration with Just Us 4 Youth where they will be leading a peer to peer led youth listening circle. Meet and connect with others and get to share about how you experience mental health, and ways we can dismantle stigma and shame as a community. Food and refreshments will be provided!
