A Happy Me, A Happy We: Learn to Thrive Youth Wellness Symposium

Tri-City Mental Health Authority, in partnership with Pomona Youth Prevention Council (PYPC) and local community partners, will be hosting a Youth Wellness Symposium, "A Happy Me, A Happy We: Learn to Thrive" on Saturday, April 29, 2023 (8:00 am - 2:00 pm). Hosted at the Western University of Health Sciences, this free half-day symposium will provide a safe and supportive space to empower youth and young adults ages 12 to 18 in Pomona, Claremont and La Verne to develop and identify sustainable wellness practices and knowledge to thrive in their respective life paths.

Through hands-on workshopss and interactive peer-led activities, we hope this event empowers young people to become self-advocates and provides them the necessary resources to increase their ability to navigate social, mental, and emotional barriers that may arise during their lives. Youth are welcome to join us for a day of interactive activities to improve your mood and lighten the vibes. Come out and enjoy a day of hanging out. This event will be FREE! We will have music, DJ, food, great raffle prizes and hands-on sessions to help you shine.

Goal: The purpose of the event is to offer beneficial, hands-on workshops that can be a resource that strengthens adolescent and transitional-aged youth's ability to navigate social, mental, and emotional barriers that may arise during their lives.

Mission: To provide a safe and supportive space that empowers young people in Pomona, Claremont & La Verne to develop and identify sustainable wellness practices and knowledge to thrive in their respective life paths.
