Coping with the Holiday Blues | Let's Talk: Student Wellness Series

Tri-City Mental Health, through grant funding from the Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) grant, is hosting a monthly student wellness series for parents, caregivers, supportive adults, teachers and youth. Join us on the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm for valuable tips and resources on how adults can better support youth mental health. This series is offered virtually and in-person and is open to educators, service providers, parents, caregivers and the general public.

This month's topic is Coping with the Holiday Blues.If you, your child or family are feeling down this season, there are several things you can do to help.Join us and learn the difference between the holidays blues and depression and ways to manage emotional triggers and expectations to deal with the holidays.We’ll share supportive strategies you can use to uplift yourself and your family to have a happy and healthy holiday season.Enjoy a self-care activity making sensory satchels with rice and essential oils!

About the Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA)

Tri-City Mental Health Authority, through the statewide Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) grant, is working to expand behavioral and mental health services for youth, young adults and their families in Claremont, Pomona, and La Verne. This funding is used to foster school-community partnerships, and provide psychoeducation for parents, supportive adults, teachers and youth.
